EA Play, the subscription system where you can play hundreds of games available on Steam, the PlayStation Store, the Xbox Store (even included in Game Pass) and of course EA itself, has gotten a huge hike everywhere.
EA Play subscription fees are up 75 percent!
EA Play subscription fee was 20 USD before EA Games stopped taking payments in TL. The price of the subscription service, which later stopped taking TL, was set at 20 USD, but existing subscribers have been paying the same price for a while.
Now, according to the information in EA’s email to subscribers, the company has announced that it has increased EA Play subscription fees by 75 percent from 20 USD to 35. Of course, this is a monthly fee.
The price of the subscription service appears to have changed on both the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store. However, EA Play is also included in the Game Pass subscription system.
Following this price hike, it is expected that EA Play will either be removed from Xbox Game Pass or Game Pass subscription fees will be raised.
What do you think about this hike? Do you think Game Pass will be raised? If so, will you still continue to use it? Please don’t forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.
